It’s appropriate that the first truly autumn-like day this year fell on the Autumnal Equinox. The delicious cool air sends my mind fast forwarding to all the wonderful things about this season. I have always been one of those people who gets obnoxiously excited about the holidays. No matter what my life has been like in the past, I’ve found comfort in the holiday season. Even if there weren’t gifts, and fancy meals – just the knowledge that every year brought fall leaves, and candy colored lights, made me feel good inside.
Everybody tends to be a lot more verbal about what they’re thankful for during the holiday season. But, why? Shouldn’t we be thankful every single day? It’s so easy to get caught up in the back and forth of day to day life that we forget how good we have it. I try to stop for a minute everyday to reflect on how great things are, even when they aren’t perfect.
What are YOU thankful for? Right now, this second.
I’m thankful for my wonderful husband, and all of my family.
I’m thankful for all of my friends. Thankful they put up with me. 😉
I’m thankful for all of my awesome, funny, smart, unique, clients. You guys are the best.
I’m thankful that I have a job that allows me to wake up at 8:30 – 9:00 AM every morning. Sometimes later. Hey, not everybody is a morning person.
I’m thankful that life is what you make it.
Happy Autumn, my friends. 🙂
Delicious cool air? LOL. It was 91 degrees at 11am here. HAHA. But I like where your head's at!
I'm thankful the spider web I walked through this morning didn't have a furry friend in it…. 🙂
I adore you! Your happy-go-lucky and appreciative attitude towards life is such a breath of fresh air.
