Hello my dear blog readers! I am finally getting around to doing some editing of photos I took in Washington. I didn’t end up doing any of the portrait sessions I had planned, so it’s mostly scenic and just for fun photos.
On September 3rd, I got to meet my great uncle Earl. He’s the older brother of my Grandpa, who lives in Arkansas. I hadn’t ever met him before. At least not that I can remember! He and Aunt Edna live on a dreamy piece of land with an adorable house, animals and a garden. It’s pretty much my dream.
Here are a few pictures from the day..
Another drive by shot.
There were probably hundreds of these tiny frogs on this plant and near by. They are so cute.
Home grown potatoes. Yum.
Goats! I think goats are rad.
Even though watermelon doesn’t typically grow in that part of the country, Uncle Earl was giving it a shot. Washington has been unseasonably warm this summer, so they were doing pretty well.
Okay, just one more cute goat shot.
I posted this one before.. but I have to post it again because it’s the most amazing backyard ever. How good would your soul feel if you stepped out on your back porch to this every morning?
A fake owl to keep hawks away from the chickens.
A sneak peek of the man himself..
Delicious red flowers.
I will post some more tomorrow.. so come back and see!
OMG! tiny frogs! tiny frogs!!!

and the trees. yum!
