The unwilling participant..

You know, sometimes you just have that child that is a little bit different than the other children. Mina is that child for us. Harley and Gigi are the lap cats, they love gettin’ some love. Mina… she only wants to get love when she is good and ready for it! She is definitely the odd cat out. But we do the best we can.

So, to even get Mina to “participate” in this little shoot, I had to bribe her with these, no doubt, unhealthy cat treats. We bought our cats all manner of nice, organic treats, and no… they want to eat these commercially produced things. They go crazy for them, particularly Mina.

But check this out:

What..? Who even has a cat that is only 6-8 lbs, I sure don’t! So, let’s do some quick math.

Harley = 9 lbs = 20 treats per day
Mina = 14 lbs = 30 treats per day
Gigi = 17 lbs = 36 treats per day

Really? I’d be going through like, a package every two days if I followed that. Maybe more! I guess I’m a cruel kitty mommy, as I only give them two treats a day, or three on days that I am feeling particularly generous.

So here it goes. “Mina! Mina! Mina! Mina look over here!” *scratches nails on carpet* “Mina!”
