The Gigi Show

Well, I figured that Harley had her chance to shine, so each of the other kiddos needed a chance to have their time in the spotlight. So this time it is Gigi, the elusive. You have seen glimpses of Gigi before, well, his teeth and whiskers.. But I actually stuck it out this time and managed to get shots of his face. With his mouth closed.

You didn’t think I got lucky right away, did you?

Mmmmhhmmmm….

Perhaps.. if I pretend to not take pictures of his face for a while, he’ll relax.

Gigi has black paw pads on all of his feet… except…

… for his secret pink paw pads on his back foot. Don’t tell anyone.

We struck gold! Look at those pretty eyes.. 🙂

I have had more than one person go.. “HIS name is Gigi?” Yes. Gigi is a male cat. Gigi was named after a talking cat in the movie “Kiki’s Delivery Service”. The actual spelling of THAT Gigi is “Jiji”… but I care not. I like Gigi better.

Gigi is about six years old, and weighs 17 lbs. He’s actually not a big round tub of kitty-lard, he’s truly “big-boned”! He was heavy even when he was thin. Harley is only a few months younger than Gigi, but she’s only around 9 lbs. Not that anybody is particularly interested in that many facts about our cats, but I figured I’d share anyhow 😉
