There is a wealth of information out there on photography and running a photography business. So much so, that it can become overwhelming. I’m excited to now offer one on one mentoring sessions to help you cut through the confusion and become the best photographer you can be. These mentoring sessions are completely online, so anybody, anywhere, can take advantage of this opportunity*.

*In the future, in person mentoring packages will be available in the Dallas area.

My mentoring package comes in two parts. The first part is a personalized portfolio review. This allows me to see exactly where you are at with your technical shooting and editing skills. It also allows me to help you get a better understanding of how to use your camera and editing programs.

The second part of the mentoring package is a one hour ‘face to face’ Skype session with me to ask me any questions you might have. What can we talk about? Here are just a few ideas:

Technical information about aperture, shutter speed, ISO and etc.
Equipment buying choices and how they can work for you.
Interacting with clients on sessions and at weddings.
Posing people of all sizes and shapes in a flattering way.
Successful blogging and other website tips.
Building self confidence in your work and believing you are worth it.

You are also welcome to add on additional Skype sessions or portfolio reviews after your initial mentoring session. You do not have to be a professional photographer to take part in the mentoring program. Even if you’re a dedicated hobbiest, I am happy to help you grow.
