Hi, and welcome to my blog! Here you will find sneak peeks of my recent sessions, featured posts of sessions and weddings, as well as a few personal photos thrown into the mix. I love to blog and I think it’s a great way to show off my amazing clients and share my personality with you. I believe that choosing a photographer to document your life is a very personal thing, and it’s important to find someone that you can build a connection with.
Outside of all the fun photos, my blog also has important announcements, helpful tips for both clients and photographers, and the occasional random post of things I like. If you have a great idea for a post on my blog, feel free to share it with me and don’t forget to leave comments on posts you love.
Jennifer and Mike had a cozy wedding with fun touches at Stone Creek Terrace in Frisco. The weather was absolutely perfect – the perks of having an outdoor November wedding in Texas! These two are absolutely so adorable together. They really don’t need any coaching because their chemistry is great. I loved Jennifer’s bright red hair combined with the awesome black hat she wore and the black touches on her dress. It reminds me of myself, because I had black accessories for my wedding as well. They had perfect fall colored touches with fresh flowers adorning the bridge and Jennifer’s orange and yellow bouquet.
Instead of a traditional marriage ceremony, Jennifer and Mike had a handfasting. They were married by Jennifer’s former roller derby coach and many of her guests were her derby friends as well. I always admire derby girls. I’m an awful skater so I could never do it! I can’t forget their awesome cake toppers as well, on their Nothing Bundt Cakes. They had a gorgeous Los Muertos style cake topper as well as the Linux penguin for a touch of geekiness.
I really enjoyed the time I got to spend with this couple and here are just some of the awesome photos from their day!
I hope everybody has stayed safe and warm in our little Icepocoplyse!
The colors this fall here in North Texas seem to be extra special. Normally we get yellow and brown, but this year I’ve seen so many rich oranges and reds. I just can’t get enough! I’m like a big kid who loves to play in the leaves. Even the big tree in my front yard looks like it’s on fire when the sun shines through the leaves. I had to run out and capture a few shots before the cold front hit and I lost my chance.
Thanks for stopping by to take a peek and I hope you have a great (and warm and cozy) weekend.
This was my last you call it mini session for this fall. It was pretty chilly out, but luckily it warmed up enough that we could still shoot outdoors at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve. They had two little guys, one only three months old! Big brother was pretty shy, but we managed to get some smiles out of him. I just love the honesty of babies and toddlers. They are always true to themselves.
Here are a few of the shots from this session!
I am already looking forward to all the fall sessions next year as well. It’s definitely my favorite season.
Oh my gosh, this family is absolutely the cutest! I had so much fun with them. They were also really laid back about the fact we needed to change to an indoor location thanks to the weather. We couldn’t have their itty bitty out in the cold! Big brother was about as sweet as they come. Plus, with that curly red hair and those freckles, how can you not melt into a big puddle? These were their first real family photos and I am so very honored that they chose me to capture them.
Are you ready for some super cuteness? Here we go!
